This is a tech demo for Element 3D as shown in the corresponding video. The caterpillar is rigged using expressions to modulate the blending falloff between two groups and a few other things to create the illusion of movement. Parameters can easily be changed. This may also give some interesting effects if used on text objects or other shapes.
