Welcome!

Welcome to my resources for After Effects, Cinema 4D and whatever I come up with and what you think might be useful. Please note that all the stuff provided here is meant for learning and experimentation. You may use it for commercial projects as well, but if you do so, do the decent thing and donate a few bucks. You can do so by clicking on the button below to make a donation.

Be aware that I cannot offer any form of guaranteed support if you can’t figure out things. You can ask me questions on forums or shoot me a mail, but accept that the stuff being free, you are not entitled to demand anything. Likewise, I reserve the right to withdraw, rework and modify stuff as I see fit. As they say "Availability may be subject to change.".

Note:Though some content may be listed, you will not find it for immediate download. This is due to bandwidth and file size constraints. You will also encounter situations, where only parts of the content are provided instantly or none at all. Such content can be made available and adapted to your needs, but this will need to be on a paid basis via different methods.

Force Field

Force Field

One more setup exploring and exploiting Trapcode Form 2‘s rotation maps, this produces a bipolar force field similar to a magnetic field. By duplicating the sub-comps constituting the maps, more fields can be added.

Radar – Dradis – Light Grid

Dradis

This collection of 3 separate projects allows you to create any variation you can think of when it comes to radars, sonars and other scanning device screens. Because everything is determined with expressions, you need not worry about all that blinking and labeling. You just animate your targets and adapt the design, and the code does the rest. The package contains the reference designs illustrated in the clip below. The setup with the light grid can be produced by cloning a prototype light with the expressions and then adjusting the parameters of the grid. Similarly, the other setups can be modified by replacing the layer in teh timeline or modifying the pre-comps.

Stripey Crowd

Crowd

Based on a user request on a forum, this is a simple implementation that allows you to color a particle grid in Trapcode Form consistently with alternating colors as it grows. Since the layer maps are always auto-sized, this kind of workaround is needed. Change the values as needed, but make sure you use clean multiples, i.e. in the default setup 30×30=900, or else the mapping will again misalign.

Column Diagram 2.5D v2

Column Diagram

This is a massively bumped up version of an older project for a column diagram/ chart. You only need to type in the values into a text layer by creating source text keyframes nad animation of the columns will follow. Just make sure to use an equal number of values every time.

Radial Ruler

Radial Ruler

Similar to the Circular Ruler, this can be used to simulate a number of technical devices and overlays, but this time displaying only a segment of the circle.
